- NCSM members provided copies of “The Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics” (NCTM) and “Everybody Counts: A Report on the State of Mathematics Education” (MSEB)

- NCSM expanded cooperative efforts with other organizations and agencies; PTA Math Kits provided for members
